The Hardin 500 is a group of individuals who invest $300 per year to Hardin County Habitat for Humanity.
$300 per year divides out to $25 per month, which is less than one meal out for a family. Plus, the donation is tax exempt.
$25 per month is a small price to pay to help end poverty housing in Hardin County.
500 contributors each year equates to 4 new homes. Hardin Co. Habitat for Humanity has provided affordable housing for 39 families with interest-free mortgages since 1994.
