Hardin County Habitat for Humanity serves as pilot with local real estate businesses
Story by By
The Hardin County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a Donation Center and Resale Store. It is a fundraising activity of your local Habitat affiliate. On the donation side this is all about recycling and reuse. Think GREEN, keep that stuff out of the landfill. On the sales side all profit go to building homes for God's Children In Need.
The ReStore accepts serviceable items and then sells them to the public.
Hours of Operation:
Mondays thru Fridays: 9:00 to 5:00
Saturdays: 9:00 to 2:00
Location: 6746 S. Wilson Road, Elizabethtown. From 31W at the traffic signal on the north end of Kohl 's, turn west onto S. Wilson Road. Go a half mile. The Store is on your right. Go to the right of the building to the Loading Dock at the end of the blacktop. We are in the old Roy's Furniture Store building. The ReStore currently has 5000 square feet of floor space.
You may deliver donations at those times or, if necessary, we will pick them up free of charge. For more information or to schedule a pick-up call 270-737-0207 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
. For a pick-up please tell us what, where, when, what floor it is on and a phone number. Please, do not leave items when the ReStore is closed.
If you are remodeling, consider donating your old cabinets and appliances to the ReStore. Don't send them to the landfill. If you need cabinets removed we may be able to do that for you.
Contractors who are completing a job, consider bringing you excess materials to the ReStore. We like odd size pieces of lumber, half bags of cement, partial cans of latex paint, or a half pack of roofing shingles. What about the extra 5 pieces of vinyl siding? Recycle. We will come and get it. Save the trip to the dump.
